A Recent Study Claims Texas Is Just “Ok” With Our Early Education System
It probably comes as no surprise that Texas ranks poorly for education. As a matter of fact, the overall ranking for the Lone Star State is just 34th, according to World Population Review.

Knowing all that, you can assume that Texas doesn't rank well with early education (Pre-K) either. The personal finance website, Wallethub, recently released a study that puts Texas smack dab in the middle of the pack regarding early education.
We don't take too kindly to being "middle of the pack" here in Texas, but apparently, education is an area we can't fix as we've been just "ok" for quite some time.
Wallethub reported on a variety of metrics including access to education, quality of education, and resources & economic support.
Our overall ranking, as previously mentioned, was 25th but we ranked 5th in quality of education. That sounds great, but considering access and resources & support were 43rd and 40th, respectively.
Basically, the quality of our Pre-K system is great, but the access to it and the resources families receive are in the dirt. In the end, it doesn't matter how good your education system is if the students have limited access to it with limited resources.
On the bright side, at least we're not Indiana which ranked dead last on this list.

Good or bad, there are definitely days I totally miss my school years.
