Another earthquake rattled Texas on Thursday, July 26th with aftershocks felt across a large portion of the state.

The earthquake was centered near Hermleigh, Texas, an area that has seen several earthquakes this week.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the quake struck around 9:28 am and registered a magnitude of 4.8 on the Richter Scale. A smaller 3.2 earthquake rattled the same area only 22 minutes later.

I was sitting in my studios when the entire building began to shake and my microphones started swinging around like a bunch of angry monkeys. I could hear my co-workers asking if others were feeling the building rumble.

I took to my Facebook page to ask if anyone else felt it and several chimed in from areas from Dallas and San Angelo.

So, what's up with that area having so many earthquakes lately? Many folks point to fracking while others claim climate change as the culprit.

All I know is that feeling the effects of the earth moving underneath me is pretty insane. I don't know how those folks in California deal with it all the time.
