The Texas chapter of Special Olympics is hosting "Abilene Community Day" to give everyone a chance to learn more about the organization and how to become a volunteer, coach, or even athlete.
Here's a special message from a local Special Olympics athlete, Seth Carter:
Abilene Community Day, for Special Olympics, will take place on Sunday, July 17th from 2 pm until 4 pm at The Performance Lab.
If you've got questions, please contact Jessica Carter at 512-788-4039 or via email here.
Become a coach or volunteer and you just might lead the next team to gold, like a couple of our coaches did.
