According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, there are currently 358 active missing children reports in Texas.

What about missing adults/persons?

Well, according to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NAMUS), there are 2,043 current missing persons cases in the Lone Star State.

Out of those 2,043, there are 12 that are still missing from right here in Abilene, Texas.

You've probably seen billboards alerting us of some of these missing persons. The one I see the most is for Clay Rodman. Hopefully, one of these days, these missing people will find their way home and be reunited with their families.

The harsh reality, though, is that some won't be found but that can't give us an excuse to give up hope or to quit searching.
