Fans of the early millennial nu-metal band, the Union Underground, are getting excited over the news of the resurrection of the Texas-based band.

A new Facebook page, among other pages on the internet, has popped up teasing a new lineup, new music, and a new chapter in the history of the band.

It appears we'll get details on a new single and e.p. very soon. The page also states a preview of the first single will be available for 24 hours only on March 4th.

The Union Underground released "An Education in Rebellion" in 2000 and quickly became one of the biggest new bands on the planet, thanks to their debut single "Turn Me On Mr. Deadman".

The band saw further success with the song "Across the Nation", which was used as a theme song for WWE Raw for just over 4 years.

The band broke up in 2002.

Following their break-up, Bryan Scott (singer) formed a new group, Cult to Follow. Scott also spent a lot of time in the studio producing bands. In 2015, Scott formed another band called Into the Fire, along with Tim King and Adam Zadel (both of SOil) and Will Hunt (Evanescence). Into the Fire will reportedly shoot a video for the single "Spit You Out" in February.

Also following their break-up, Patrick Kennison (guitar) went on to form LA-based Heaven Below. Kennison is also the guitarist for the legendary Lita Ford. John Moyer (bass) went on to join Disturbed as well as Adrenaline Mob, Art of Anarchy, and Operation Mindcrime. Joshua Memolo (drums) focused on his family life and raising his 2 children, while reuniting with his band Ghodsonic.

The veil of secrecy covers this new chapter in the musical journey of the Union Underground, as no one really knows who will be in this lineup. However, many speculate that Bryan Scott is the brainchild of it all. If I were a gamblin' man, I'd bet money that Joshua Memolo was involved as well. Aside from that, it's anyone's guess.

Regardless, this Union Underground fan is extremely excited as I always thought they never really had a chance to finish what they started. Many speak of a much-needed revolution in rock. Well, this could be the catalyst.
