In honor of It: Chapter Two and Doctor Sleep hitting theaters soon, Dish is looking for one (un)lucky fan to witness some classic Stephen King horror. Dish is offering $1,300 to whoever thinks they're up to a challenge: watch 13 movies based on Stephen King's "most chilling novels." The twist? All 13 films have to be seen before Halloween.

Dish is looking for someone who's up to the challenge, this job is not for the faint of heart. All you have to do during the movies is track your experience. Share the experience on social media or even vlogging it. No degree or experience is necessary, nor will a drug test or background check be performed; however, applicants must be 18 years or older and a US citizen or permanent resident to apply. The 13 films are as follows:

Carrie (original or 2013 remake)
Children of the Corn
Christine
Creepshow
Cujo
Dreamcatcher
It (original or 2017 remake)
The Mist
Pet Sematary (original or 2019 remake)
Salem's Lot
The Shining
Thinner
Misery

Honestly, that sounds like a great weekend to me. I can attest that these are some of the greats, I've seen each one! The ending scene in The Mist gives me chills! Thinner teaches you not to mess with Gypsy's. I think we all know how I feel about that fortune cookie scene in the original It. The opening scene of Carrie still haunts me!

Bring a friend along for the journey and track down your heart rate and jump scares, Dish wants to know everything about your experience. If you are the lucky one to get it, Dish will provide the movies, the Fitbit, a "survival kit" complete with flashlight, blanket, popcorn, candy, and some Stephen King paraphernalia. You'll also get a movie theater gift card to check out It: Chapter Two or Doctor Sleep, but you don't need to report on that experience. Once you watch all 13 movies and log your report the $1,300 are yours to spend however you please! You can fill out an entry form here, deadline to submit application is October 15.
