Buc-ee's To Open World's Largest Store In Luling, Texas

As the saying goes, everything is bigger in Texas, and coming up in June, that will be the case for one of the most beloved convenience stores in the Lone Star State. Buc-ee's is set to open its largest store yet, which will be the world's largest convenience store.

The Texas-based chain announced that it will be opening a massive 75,000-square-foot store in Luling which is a town off of I-10 between San Antonio and Houston. The store is scheduled to open on Monday, June 10th.

"We are thrilled to open the doors to the world's largest Buc-ee's travel center right here in the great state of Texas," Buc-ee's executive Stan Beard said in a statement. "It's particularly exciting, considering this is the Buc-ee's that started it all, so we are really looking forward to celebrating with the incredible people of Luling."

The largest store in the world was located in New Braunfels, Texas up until 2023 when Buc-ee's opened a store in Sevierville, Tennessee.

As a Texan, there is nothing quite like the sight of a Buc-ee's as you road trip through the Lone Star State. The stores are huge and packed with so many goodies like their famous beaver nuggets, homemade fudge, BBQ, Dr. Pepper Icees and so much more.

Heck, if you're like me, it's never a quick trip inside one. It's like going to the store for "that one thing" and then coming out with a million other things. It's quite addictive actually.
