Like years past, the free holiday meals will be available while supplies last, so get there early. According to the Food Bank of West Texas, they will distribute approximately 4,200 meals this year

When is this year's Feast of Sharing?

H-E-B's 'Feast of Sharing' dinner will be on Thursday, December 9th from 4 pm-6 pm.

Where is the Feast of Sharing?

This year's event is a drive-thru/pickup occasion that takes place at the Abilene Convention Center.

Drivers can enter the Convention Center's north parking lot from North 7th and Pine or from the Cedar Street parking lot entrance, and proceed forward until they will be directed to turn north within the parking lot to receive this year's meal. Drivers will then continue north to exit the parking lot onto North 8th Street. [City of Abilene]

Along with the ready-to-heat dinners, HEBuddy will be there giving out toys and prizes to the kids. Also, the H-E-B pharmacy will be there to administer free COVID-19 vaccinations for those that need them.

While this is merely one event, it's indicative of how much H-E-B does for our community each and every year.
