Miracle Treat Day to Benefit Childrens Miracle Network is July 26th
Hot Summer days are perfect for a little frozen treat of some kind, and if you’re looking for an excuse to partake of some creamy goodness, I’m about to give you one. The folks at Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) are working closely with several Texas Dairy Queens on a special one day fund raiser. This is the 26th year that CMN has been the beneficiary of the ‘Miracle Treat Day’. Here’s how you can participate.
Eat ice cream and help a local charity, that is what I call a “win win.” Miracle Day began in 1986 with a few Dairy Queen (DQ) operators participating, Hendrick Children’s Hospital in Abilene joined CMN in 1988. Thursday July 26th at 27 West Texas Dairy Queens, purchase a DQ-Blizzard and $1 goes directly to CMN. There are a few of the Dairy Queens that are giving 100% of the proceeds to CMN, those stores are in Coleman, Haskell and Hillsboro. The individual DQ owners decide how much they want to donate.
