Grab Your Tackle and Help Toys for Toys at Fishing Tourney at Fort Phantom
It's just the middle of July but there are already people working to help out less fortunate kids this year with a Toys for Tots fishing tournament. In my opinion, it's never too early in the year when it comes to making those Christmas dreams come true.
So grab your rod and reel and get ready for some fishing at Fort Phantom.
When is the Toys for Tots fishing competition?
The fishing tournament is this Saturday at Lake Fort Phantom and it'll be fun for the entire family as even kids can participate.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- 7 AM: Registration
- 12 PM: Weigh station cut-off time
- 1 PM: Auction and raffle
- 2 PM: Awards ceremony
The event will be hosted at the SUP Abilene Paddleboard and Kayak spot at Fort Phantom. Best of all, all fishing can be done on boat, bank, paddleboard, or kayak.
It's never too early in the year when it comes to making those Christmas dreams come true.
