Every now and then, a local group steps up and reminds you why Texas is built differently. Big Country Car Shows did exactly that with their 16th Annual Toys for Tots Car Show, and the numbers are wild in the best way possible.

No, we didn’t run it, organize it, or judge anyone’s paint job…but when the community shows up like this, you shine a spotlight on it.

The Impressive Breakdown

This year’s event, held on November 15, 2025, rolled in with some seriously strong stats according to Big Country Car Show’s Facebook page:

  • 188 vehicles registered (that’s a whole lot of chrome and horsepower)
  • 417 toys donated
  • 20 brand-new bikes
  • $5,186.51 raised

That’s not just a good day, that’s a Texas flex.

Community Showing Up in Full Force

What makes these numbers so cool isn’t the totals, it’s the people who made it happen. Volunteers showed up. Families showed up. Car lovers showed up with their rides polished so hard you could fix your hair in them. It takes a village to pull off an event like this, and Abilene did what Abilene does best: come together.

You always hear about bad news, or news that makes you want to click the story, but this? This is the good stuff. This is Abilene doing Abilene things; showing off cool cars and even cooler hearts. Big salute to everyone involved at Big Country Car Shows!
