One of the best national food day holidays is finally here- National Taco Day! Find out where you can score the best deals. Tacos are a Mexican food icon and have been around since the 18th or 19th century, depending on which historian you're speaking to. One thing that we can all agree on, tacos are delicious. Consisting of hand-sized corn or flour tortilla, and filled with mouth-watering meats, then topped with cilantro, salsa, onions or whatever you prefer. Tacos are simple to make but come in many variations to satisfy even the pickiest eater. To celebrate National Taco Day, many businesses are offering specials deals for taco lovers to enjoy.

Jack in the Box

Long John Silvers

Get your choice of a free grilled, shrimp, grilled salmon, or wild Alaska pollock with any purchase on Friday.

Taco Bell

Head to the Taco Bell website and give the gift of tacos to those you love. Fill out a form on the site with a friend's name, email and a message and for $5 they get a digital gift card for the Taco Bell gift set. The gift set includes two crunchy tacos and 2 nacho cheese Doritos locos tacos.

Chuy's

Dress like a taco and get a free entree of your choice, dine-in only. You can also add a crispy beef taco to any entree order for only $1, limit 2 per person. They will also be using the #NationalTacoDay hashtag and giving away prizes on their social media pages.

The El Paso restaurant will be offering $1 pastor tacos and tacos de buche. 1810 Taqueria is located at 1441 Zaragoza Suite 3-4.

You can get a free lemonade with any taco order for Taco Day. Rainbow Fountain is located at 6232 Montana Avenue and Rainbow Tortas is at 201 South Americas Ave on the far east side of El Paso.

$2 tacos all weekend and $1 tacos on Sunday for their two year anniversary. Dias de los Pescadoes is located at 2200 Zaragosa at opens at 7 p.m.

Malolam Cantina has $2 tacos all day long. Malolam is located at 4935 North Mesa Street and are open 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. today.
