A Santa Fe music shop has temporarily closed after British actor Idris Elba visited the shop, less than a week after he tested positive for COVID-19. The Candyman Strings and Things, a music shop in Santa Fe, has announced they will be temporarily closing after a visitor of the shop has tested positive for the Coronavirus. That visitor just happens to be super famous, hunky British movie star Idris Elba.

On Monday, the Hobbs and Shaw actor took to Twitter to tell his almost 3 million followers that he got tested for COVID-19 after he came into contact with someone who was positive for the virus. Elba said he was shocked to find out the test came back positive and that he was showing no symptoms. The actor and his wife are now self quarantined at an undisclosed location.

After the news broke, the Candyman Strings and Things music shop in Santa Fe immediately closed their doors according to KOAT News. Here's what the shop said about their closing on Facebook:

"We have no idea if Idris Elba had even been exposed to the virus before visiting our store last Tuesday. There weren't even any positive cases in our state at that time. Even so, we weren't willing to take ANY risk with our community. Making the immediate decision to close was the only decision we could make."

No word yet on when the shop will reopen to the public.
