New Mexico City Named Top U.S. City For Nature Lovers

New Mexico is known as the Land of Enchantment and apparently many people know of the beauty you can see outdoors. A New Mexico city was named #1 on the list! When people think of New Mexico, many think of just desert and the show "Breaking Bad." Not the best thing that a show about dealing meth is one of the first things that people think of about your state. But there are plenty of other amazing things about the Land of Enchantment. There's the delicious food, the friendly people and the absolutely stunning landscape. Others are starting to take notice of New Mexico since a new list put one city in the state at the top of their list for a special group of people. People who enjoy spending time outdoors are looking for cities that can give you various opportunities from work, hobbies and various activities. Nature lovers are always looking for places to live where they can earn a living, but be able to spend their time enjoying the great outdoors in their free time.

The Mother Nature Network made a list of the top cities for nature lovers to live in and Albuquerque, New Mexico topped that list. According to MNN, Albuquerque has 28% of the city's land dedicated to various parks and outdoor paces for residents to enjoy. Another perk of the Northern New Mexico city is the amount of sunny days residents can enjoy. On average, Albuquerque receives over 300 sunny days a year, which gives people plenty of time to enjoy outdoor fun in the wilderness. But it wasn't all just good news for New Mexico.
