Texans are proud of two things.

But apparently, when it comes to patriotism, Texas is towards the bottom in the US. At least according to WalltHub.

Yup, you read that right, Texas comes all the way in at number 46 when it comes to patriotism. Here is the full list of states ranked.

Each of those are judged based on a series of metrics that bring forth a number that means "patriotism" apparently.

Texas was towards the top in one category.

Highest Average Number of Military Enlistees

  1. Georgia
  2. Alaska

  4. Texas
  5. Alabama

But also towards the bottom in another category along with New Mexico. Texas comes in at number 46, and New Mexico at number 47 in regards to percentage of adults who voted in the 2016 election.
