It looked like Blink-182's Mark Hoppus and family were locked down inside their home for a time Monday (May 6) as law enforcement engaged a group of on-the-run criminals in the area after an apparently botched burglary.

As Blink-182 slowly leaked summer tour dates alongside Lil Wayne and Neck Deep early in the week (the entire run has since been confirmed), the band's bassist, co-vocalist and sole remaining founding member took to Instagram to share a series of Story updates surrounding the morning incident. "Woke up to police loudspeaker saying 'This is your last chance. Come out with your hands up,'" Hoppus initially shared around 6:30AM PT via the photo and video-sharing social network. "Burglary gone bad and suspects hiding around our house. We've been told to lock the doors and get to safe place. Helicopters now."

He later continued, "Helicopters. Dogs. Police outside our windows with guns drawn." … "New officers have arrived in tactical gear and are right outside our son's window." … "Helicopter left for a minute but is back now. Police have apprehended all but one suspect. They shut down our street for the next two to three hours."

Finally, atop an image of police officers attending the scene, the musician announced that he and his family had safely evacuated. Hoppus also shared a video of a helicopter hovering near his Southern California neighborhood.

"We left," Hoppus shared. "Still one suspect at large. About 20 police cars. Tactical unit. Crime scene van. News crews. Out street is closed for the next few hours." … "I think they just caught the last suspect on our friend's roof."

Once a safe distance from the live-'grammed melee, the longtime Blink-182 bona fide began filling his Insta Story with images advertising the band's upcoming tour. It starts June 27 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

"We're home," the bass player stated before signaling the scare's finale. "All suspects in custody. Thanks for all the concern and everyone checking that we're okay. Now let's talk [Blink-182 and Lil Wanye's] summer tour 2019!!"
