In a Monday interview transmitted by South Korea's Yohnhap News Agency, Linkin Park turntablist Joe Hahn reportedly revealed the band have "started talking about making new music together." Hahn — who's appearing on a new reality TV show in Korea called Super Band — effectively joined his bandmates in an indefinite hiatus when Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington died in 2017.

That hiatus could possibly end in ten years or sooner, judging by Hahn's recent talk. As reported in the below Rock Feed video, the musician seemingly indicated that Linkin Park might return at some point in the next decade when asked about the possibility. However, he noted that surviving band members aren't currently making concrete plans.

"Maybe in about 10 years? (Laughs) It might be sooner," Hahn is said to have responded in a quote translated by fansite Linkin Park Live. "I don't want to set a deadline. We just want to focus on the present and talk about music. We aren't discussing detailed plans. I just want to go back to those days when I made music in the garage."

As for the likelihood of a new singer filling Bennington's role upon a return from the outfit, the musician suggested "all possibilities are open" while refraining from giving any solid details about Linkin Park's uncertain next move.

In 2018, Hahn's fellow Linkin Park bandmate Mike Shinoda squarely stated "there aren't any answers" to the act's future. Shinoda released his solo album Post Traumatic that same year, following an EP of the same name.
