It's officially Christmas by my watch and that means one thing: 24 hours of "A Christmas Story." It sounds pretty awesome. I haven't seen "A Christmas Story" since last Christmas so it'll definitely be a treat. But if 24 hours of wholesome family togetherness and a constant repeat of "you'll shoot your eye out, kid" aren't cutting it for you this season, then sink your teeth into my list of Christmas horror movies. If you want to check out the 2018 edition I did, click here.

Below I have listed some great horror movies to enjoy that all involve the magic of Christmas. These are just suggestions, you may have already seen these, you may have not. I've only recently seen two of these movies for the first time and I must say, they totally amp up the Christmas spirit! Now, if you're feeling like maybe a weirdo for enjoying horror flicks on what is supposed to be a night of spreading cheer, don't. Hollywood Reporter has a great read on why horror flicks are more appealing this time of year! 'Tis the season!

    Anna and the Apocalypse

A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven - at Christmas - forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other.

    Better Watch Out

Ashley travels to the suburban home of the Lerners to babysit their 12-year-old son Luke during the holidays. She must soon defend herself and the young boy when unwelcome intruders announce their arrival

    Krampus

I will forever defend this movie. Many think this movie wasn't that scary, but I do think it is! A half goat half demon whose origins can't really be traced but who is well known for rewarding well behaved children and brutally punishes bad kids. This movie is a ton of fun and will totally make your nephews behave on their own!

    Black Christmas

I actually enjoy this one better than the new one. The holiday season turns deadly for a group of sorority sisters who are stranded at their campus house during a snowstorm. These coeds better watch out, for a vicious killer is on the loose, and he will not care if they are naughty or nice.

    Wind Chill

This trailer doesn't do it any justice. A chilling story about a college-age woman and her classmate who become stranded on the side of a remote highway around the holidays.
