Ever wonder what kind of texts Sir Mix-A-Lot gets? Well, one guy in Seattle knows all too well because he just so happen to be given Sir Mix-A-Lot's old phone number.

The first text Jonathan Nichols received simply said "“Check this guy out,” with a link to a YouTube video of a guy making beats out of a synthesizer. As much as Nichols might have liked the video, he didn't think it was intended for him. He had recently changed to a local number to prepare for a job search.

He started receiving calls from exotic car dealerships asking if he wanted to come test drive their cars. Text messages with women in bikinis began rolling in. So much so that Jonathan had to text back requesting that the sender stop. (I'm still trying to figure out why)

Then August 12th rolled around. He was at a softball tournament when his phone started to blow up non-stop. Texts saying "Love You" and "Happy birthday" accompanied by pics of women in bikinis and bottles of whiskey,

Jonathan decided to investigate a bit and realized, his new number happened to previously belong to none other than Sir Mix-A-Lot. When asked about what he would have told Jonathan before the technological mix up, Sir Mix-A-Lot said "Don’t check any text messages in front of your wife. That would be the first thing. And don’t answer any texts by saying ‘Yes,’ because people take ‘Yes’ differently with me. And usually you end up opening your wallet.”

Talking about any responsibilities that come with the new number “Tell him any really sexy pictures — little in the middle, and if she’s got much back — give them the new number,” Mix said with a laugh, then paused. “But not the car dealerships.”
