Glenn Hughes will be paying homage to his brief but fruitful stint in Deep Purple on his upcoming U.S. tour.

Fans were beginning to worry that Hughes would not be bringing this tour stateside after other parts of the world were graced with his shows, packed with Purple MKIII and MKIV classics, but they can now rest easy, as the rocker has mapped out a 17 date run through America. The 'Classic Deep Purple Live' tour will lean heavily on the eastern half of the country, extending as far west as Illinois.

The jaunt kicks off on Aug. 25 and comes to an end on Sept. 22 and you can check out the full list of stops below.

On previous tours under this moniker, Hughes has kept the set list primarily to the time he was in the band, performing songs off BurnStormbringer and Come Taste the Band alongside a couple of Purple standards from the MKII lineup.

It's been quite a couple years for fans of the MKIII and MKIV Deep Purple lineups, which famously featured David Coverdale sharing lead vocal duties with Hughes. Whitesnake released The Purple Album in 2015, cutting reimagined versions of tracks from his those aforementioned Deep Purple albums. On the supporting tour, Hughes even joined the group onstage to perform the Burn track "Lay Down Stay Down."

Now if they could only team up for a tour together...
