Residents across The Big Country felt the aftershocks of a 4.3 magnitude earthquake that struck about 10.7 miles northeast of Hermleigh, Texas.

Now, I didn't feel it this morning although my dog was acting pretty strange around that time. But as I cruised through social media, the aftershocks were felt right here in Abilene and some of the surrounding towns.  


Earlier this week, there were a couple of earthquakes that hit near Midland Texas according to News West 9. In December, the 4th largest earthquake to hit Texas happened near Midland as well.

I don't know if it's just me, but doesn't it seem like there have been a lot of earthquakes lately? I mean, what's going on with the earth lately? Are there gigantic sumo wrestlers pounding the earth or something?

Whatever the case is, things are definitely rumbling in the Lone Star State lately.
