It was 10 years ago that The Toadie launched their festival, Dia De Los Toadies, at Possum Kingdom Lake and the 10th anniversary of the event is going back to where it started. This year's event takes place on Saturday, September 16th.

It only makes sense that The Toadies perform at PK Lake again. Heck, one of the biggest rock anthems ever (Possum Kingdom) was written by them about that very place.

The Toadies expressed their desire to make this a special event by creating a lineup consisting of previous Dia De Los Toadies performers. There is one exception, though. That exception is Ting Tang Tina, a band fronted by Vaden Todd Lewis' daughter.

Also on the bill are Local H as they're also touring with The Toadies this fall.

We, here at Rock 108, are honored The Toadies asked us to be involved with the show. We've always had a great relationship with the band and hope to help make this the biggest festival yet.

While working hard on this festival, The Toadies have been working even harder on their new album, which is set to be released the week before the festival. "The Lower Side of Uptown" is scheduled to release on September 8th and it definitely hearkens back to the old school sound and feel of The Toadies. Seriously, I've already heard 3 songs and they're all huge. You're really in for a treat when this album drops.
