With Throwback Thursday (TBT) upon us, it's time to dig into my archives (boy that sounded dirty) and pull out an old interview. This time around, I take you back in time with an interview I did in 2013 with Vaden Todd Lewis, lead singer of The Toadies. We chatted about everything from snakes, his favorite comedian, and the Toadies latest album at the time, 'Play.Rock.Music'.

This interview with Vaden Todd Lewis took place in 2013 before his band, The Toadies played Rock 108's 'Fall Ball'. We talked about their current album at the time, recording a Reverend Horton Heat cover, Vaden's favorite comedian, their hilarious album cover, and so much more.

On incorporating comedy into some of the things the band does:

"I never wanted to be a band who takes themselves too seriously"

Talking about the band's album cover for "Play.Rock.Music", Vaden had this to say:

"We wanted it (the album cover to their latest album) to be as un-rock n' roll as possible"

Listen to the rest of the interview which originally aired May 10th, 2013

The Toadies are currently on tour in support of the 20th anniversary of the album "Rubberneck". The iconic album was remastered and contains 5 previously unreleased tracks.Their 2014Texas tour dates include:
