It's been one of the strangest stories in the news recently. Amber Guyger, a Dallas police officer, mistook the wrong apartment for her own, and wound up killing the man inside. There were a whole lots of questions to be asked in regards to this case. Including:

  • Why didn't Guyger call for backup?
  • How did Guyger not notice the bright red doormat outside the apartment when her's didn't have one?
  • Why was Guyger texting her partner "I need you ... hurru up" and "I [expletive] up", and not administering CPR to the victim?

And that's just a few of the questions. But, one question that has been answered is: "What will a jury find in the case of Amber Guyger?"

The answer to that question is she will be found guilty. Now the trial moves to the sentencing phase. Guyger is looking at anywhere from 5 years to life in prison.
