A week after losing to the NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles, it was all smiles at AT&T Stadium as the Cowboys used a strong offensive attack and stout defense to beat the Giants for the second time this season.

Salute To Service game

Lamb wasn't the only Cowboys receiver to take one to the house. Brandin Cooks, Michael Gallup, and Jake Ferguson all hauled in touchdowns from Dak Prescott, who has been on fire over the last several weeks.

These Cowboys Are Setting Records

In the win over the Giants, Dak threw four touchdowns and ran for another while completing 26 of 35 passes for 404 yards. Dak became the only Cowboys quarterback to throw for three touchdowns while throwing for more than 300 yards in three consecutive games. In those games, Dak has thrown for more than 1,000 yards with 11 touchdowns and only two interceptions.

The record-setting game also saw Cee Dee Lamb become the first player in NFL history with three consecutive games of 10 or more catches and 150 receiving yards or more. Lamb also set a franchise record for the most receiving yards ever in a four game stretch.

The Cowboys seem to be clicking on all cylinders in the last several weeks. Even in the loss to the Eagles, the Cowboys did hang with the NFC East leaders and had a chance to win the game but came up short.

Against the Giants, the Cowboys controlled every aspect of the game. While that is definitely a good thing, it is something that, on paper, should have happened. If the Cowboys had dropped this game, fans would have completely lost their minds. I know I would have.

So, while a win against the subpar Giants is a great thing, at 6-3 there is still plenty of work to do if we're going to catch the Philadelphia Eagles.
