Chevelle just keep on chugging along with their latest album, ‘Hats Off to the Bull.’ The Windy City rockers are currently one of the top draws on the Carnival of Madness tour, and have just announced their first post-Madness dates for the fall.

The massive festival madness continues! Rocklahoma, a three-day rock bonanza taking place May 25-27 in Pryor, Okla., will feature a slew of the biggest rock acts on the planet.

In support of their recently released sixth studio album, ‘Hats Off to the Bull,’ Chevelle are set to head out on the road with opening acts Middle Class Rut and Janus for a U.S. tour.

Chevelle‘s fans were obviously anticipating the band’s new album ‘Hats Off to the Bull,’ which scored a high debut on the Billboard 200 chart earlier this month. And radio has been eagerly supportive too, sending the lead single ‘Face to the Floor’ straight to No. 1 on the Active Rock and Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks tallies.

Despite pop stars and Christmas albums ruling the charts, rock acts are claiming their spots on the Billboard 200 tally.

Chicago rock trio Chevelle have just announced a string of tour dates in support of their upcoming album, ‘Hats Off to the Bull,’ which is set for a Dec. 6 release. The band will be playing a short cluster of shows in between various media appearances across the U.S. beginning tomorrow in their home state.

Chevelle are set to unleash their new studio album ‘Hats Off to the Bull’ on Dec. 6, and the band is building up the excitement with the unveiling of its cover art and track listing.

Since 1995, Chevelle have been rocking our faces off with songs like, "Vitamin R", "The Clincher", "The Red" and a slew of other hits.  Currently, they are on tour with Bush and have a new album coming out in December.  Recently, Sam, Pete and Dean called in to the Rock 108 studios and I had a chance to talk to them about the tour and their new album.

Back in the day, the release of a concert album used to be a sure sign that a band was not going to be putting out a new studio effort anytime soon. Chevelle fans can rest easy, however. Even though the Chicago-bred group released the live collection ‘Any Last Words’ in the spring, a new studio disc is on the way, just in time for the year-end holiday season.

Chevelle announced on Facebook the other day that a brand new album should be out in early December. The first single called “Face To The Floor” will hit radio October 10th.
