Despite pop stars and Christmas albums ruling the charts, rock acts are claiming their spots on the Billboard 200 tally.

The Black Keys debut at No. 2 on the chart with their new album ‘El Camino,’ which was beat out for the No. 1 spot by crooner Michael Buble’s ‘Cristmas’ album. ‘El Camino,’ which sold 206,000 copies in its first week, features the current hit single ‘Lonely Boy.’

Korn seems to be on the right path, as their new dubstep album ‘The Path of Totality’ takes the No. 10 spot with 55,000 units sold. The record features collaborations with Skrillex, Downlink, Noisia, Kill the Noise and others. The band continues to push the envelope and it seems that taking risks musically and creatively is paying off.

Rock trio Chevelle come in at the No. 20 (43,000 copies sold) with their latest album ‘Hats Off to the Bull,’ which is the band’s follow up to 2009’s ‘Sci-fi Crimes.’ After touring with Bush and Filter this year to support the new disc, Chevelle are playing a handful of headlining dates this month.
