What Really Happened to Artie Lange’s Nose

It's no surprise that Artie Lange has struggled with addiction problems. Thankfully he's gotten himself clean and is doing well for himself.

Lange was recently on Joe Rogan's podcast, talking about everything from the time he puked on the air to gambling away over $3 million. Something that has been newsworthy recently is Lange's nose. The picture above isn't even the worst part of the story. His nose eventually just caved in. As you can see in the video from Joe Rogan's podcast below.

As Lange explains, the photo where his nose is swollen up like a balloon was from a time he got sucker punched. Some guy just blasted him in the face and broke his nose.

The major damage came when he was in a hotel room with a "friend". And by "friend" I mean hooker. She was crushing up some pills to snort, but the pills were tough, so she had to use a salt shaker. Unbeknownst to her, the salt shaker was breaking along with the pills, leaving tiny glass shards in the powder.

Lange proceeded to snort the rail of powder and it completely destroyed the inside of his nose. He does have a few TV shows that are interested in rebuilding his nose for him, but he has said he's wary of that because every time he looks in the mirror, he's reminded of what can happen if he were to fall off the wagon.
