Every week, we shine the spotlight on some four-legged friends in Texas who need a new leash on life. The Sad News

Texas shelters like All Kind Animal Initiative, especially in the summer, fill up fast. And when there’s no room left, heartbreaking decisions have to be made. That's why adopting or fostering is literally life-saving. Even if you can’t commit long-term, fostering buys time for dogs to find their forever homes.

The Good News

You can help. You don’t need a big gesture to make a huge difference. Adopt a dog from the Urgent List, foster a pup to give them some extra time, or drop off (or order!) treats to keep tails wagging at The PARC. Every little bit helps, and these dogs will thank you with all the love they’ve got.

Take a look at this week's Urgent List and see if one of these pups tugs at your heartstrings.

Treat Shortage

So, All Kind Animal Initiative just posted something we’ve got to share, they’re officially running out of dog treats at The PARC. The pups have noticed, and apparently they’re holding meetings, according to All Kind Animals’ Facebook page. A union might be forming!

In all seriousness, if you would like to help out with a few treats, you can drop off treats at The PARC or send some their way through their Amazon Wishlist. Bring the snacks. Save the peace in Texas.
