The Weekend Buzz – Featuring New Belgium Brewing’s Tasty Voodoo Ranger Series
The Weekend Buzz is back for another round of shameless taste-testing of excellent craft beers. This time around we stay with New Belgium Brewing Company and we'll pop the top on a couple of Voodoo Ranger flavors.
In case you're not familiar with the show, we feature some brews from breweries all over the nation each Friday. Basically, we try a bunch of beers, tell you about the beers, and then you choose whether or not you want to go out and try these brews.
As I mentioned, we're going back to the stable of craft beers from New Belgium Brewing Company and their Voodoo Ranger series. We'll be sampling the Voodoo Ranger IPA and the Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA.
Here's a closer look at the two beers we'll feature this Friday, February 10th. Note the super cool graphics that Voodoo Ranger sports on their cans.
Voodoo Ranger IPA
Bursting with tropical aromas and juicy fruit flavors from Mosiac and Amarillo hops, this golden IPA (Imperial Pale Ale) is perfectly bitter with a refreshing and sublime finish. This beer comes in at 7% abv.
Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA
A rare blend of choice hops and complex, rich flavors. This beer sports a 9% abv so it has a little more kick to it than the IPA.
Once again, we'll be sampling these brews this Friday afternoon. Tune in on the radio or our free app to hear our thoughts on these tasty brews.
The Weekend Buzz is brought to you by our buddies over at Ben E. Keith Beverages, who along with Townsquare Media and Rock 108, remind you to enjoy responsibly.
Check out some of the other brews we've tried in the past.
