Arc Angel Welding Built West Texas Reputation Over Three Decades Of Concrete And Custom Work

This week on The Weekend Buzz, we traded the usual barstool wisdom for welding sparks as Angel from Arc Angel Welding & Concrete joined us in the studio.

Arc Angel has served Clyde, Abilene, and the surrounding West Texas area for more than 30 years. The crew handles residential and commercial welding, concrete installation, stamped concrete, dirt work, fences, gates, carports, and plenty of custom projects. We talked about how the business got started, memorable projects, strange customer requests, the challenges of working in West Texas, and what happens when somebody gets a little too confident after watching a few YouTube videos.

Modelo Negra and a Wild Chelada Variety Pack

Of course, this is still The Weekend Buzz, so we needed something cold to accompany the conversation.

We started with Modelo Negra, a smooth, dark lager with a richer flavor than your typical light and crispy beer. After that, things got a little more interesting when we tore into the Modelo Chelada variety pack.

The lineup included Limón y Sal, Mango y Chile, Sandía Picante, and Piña Picante. That gave us lime and salt, mango and chile, spicy watermelon, and spicy pineapple, all mixed with authentic Mexican beer.

Some were refreshing, some brought a little heat, and at least one made us question what the hell was happening inside that can.
