We launched a new feature on Rock 108 called The Weekend Buzz powered by our good buddies at Ben E. Keith Beverages. Basically, it's a feature where we try beer, tell you about beer, and hopefully, you go pick up said beer for your enjoyment. Since it is Dry January, we're continuing to feature non-alcoholic brews, this time from Lagunitas Brewing Co.

Lagunitas Brewing Co. features both alcoholic and non-alcoholic brews. As I mentioned, we're featuring a few of their non-alcoholic brews for Dry January.

There’s a Lagunitas brew for every mood and occasion—from hazy to light & sessiony, and colossally-hopped to non-alcoholic. Come say hey! (Lagunitas Brewing Company)

Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher

This non-alcoholic brew has zero alcohol, carbs, and calories while maintaining a hoppy full-flavored beer experience. It has been named one of the Top Ten Drinks by the Chicago Tribune and "the number one hop water to try" by The Wallstreet Journal.

Lagunitas IPNA

The Lagunitas IPNA is yet another great choice in its stable of non-alcoholic brews. This brew is similar to their flagship IPA but simply without alcohol. It's the first to be released by a Top 15 Craft Brewer.

We'll be sampling both of these non-alcoholic brews on The Weekend Buzz, which is every Friday between 4-6 pm. Tune in and hear our thoughts on these tasty brews.

What is Dry January?

Dry January was started in the UK in 2013 when people signed up and pledged to not drink alcohol for the entire month of January. After gaining a ton of momentum overseas, Dry January eventually trickled into the U.S. where an official campaign was launched by Meharry Medical College this year (2023).
