Ride Along was one of the surprise hits of 2014, making a massive pile of cash in the traditionally slow month of January. A sequel was inevitable. Like clockwork, Ride Along 2 is set to arrive almost exactly two years to the day after the first film. Which means the second outing of Ice Cube and Kevin Hart’s mismatched buddy cops was written, shot, edited and will be released in the space of 728 days.
When the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton hits theaters this week, it will star Corey Hawkins as Dr. Dre. But did you know Dre was originally supposed to be played by Fruitvale Station star Michael B. Jordan, who dropped out because of scheduling conflicts with Fantastic Four? ‘Straight Outta Compton’, the biopic of controversial gangsta rap group N.W.A., hasn't had the easiest road to the big screen. The film has been in development since 2009, with a number of directors set to direct. Finally, Universal Pictures came on board to make the film happen with director F. Actor and rap legend Ice Cube can be pretty intense -- it's part of his charm, really! -- and his signature angry face and enraged voice only add to the laughs in this week's '22 Jump Street.' (Yes, pretty much just like they did with 2012's '21 Jump Street'). Or at least Jenko can't. The first '22 Jump Street' clip dropped online, along with a batch of new photos and a poster, giv
On a recent episode of the Conan on TBS, Ice Cube and Kevin Hart tag along with Conan as they take a ride around Hollywood in search of weed. They use the 'ride sharing' smartphone app, Lyft, to get a ride from a random person in the area.
Yahoo! has debuted the trailer for 'Ride Along,' the new comedy from the director and producer of 'Think Like a Man.' The film pairs the comedy duo of Kevin Hart and Ice Cube as two mismatched guys -- a cop and his sister's boyfriend -- as they go on a crazy 24-hour ride along through the streets of Atlanta. Ice Cube, who also starred in '21 Jump Street,' plays the role of the cop -- obviously --
