"Ride For A Cure" Motorcyle Ride Benefits American Cancer Society on September 1st
“Ride for a Cure” benefit for the American Cancer Society is being organized by Heath Page for September 1st at Kent’s Harley Davidson. Heath’s sister, Jessie, was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer and has undergone chemo and radiation. Heath wanted to do something to help find a cure so others don’t have to face this. As mentioned 100% of the proceeds from the bike ride will go to the American Cancer Society. Jessie, however, has not been able to work during her treatments and medical bills and living expenses add up quickly. If you would like to help Jessie with a separate contribution an account at First Financial Bank has been set up under “Heath Page”.
On a personal note. I, too, have battled cancer this year, although mine was breast cancer, I know what Jessie is having to go through both mentally and physically. A good attitude can do more than you can imagine and so can support from friends, co-workers, and family such as Heath.
Keep up the good fight Jessie; you’re in our thoughts and prayers.
