What Do You Do For Fun in Abilene When You’re Broke?

With gas prices on the rise again, not to mention an economy that still needs help, it's tough to pay all of your bills and still be able to have a little fun here in Abilene...especially if you're broke. With this week's Question of the Week, we ask you what do you do for fun in Abilene when you're broke.

Most people, like myself, live paycheck to paycheck. I budget for gas, groceries and other bills, and when that's done, it's tough to have anything left over to do something fun. To make matters worse, I recently moved into a new house. Now, anybody that has ever moved knows how expensive that can be. From paying transfer fees and renting a truck to buying stuff for the house and feeding those that helped me, I'm now one broke son of a gun.

So, since I'm so broke I can't afford to pay attention, I figured I'd ask you guys what you do for fun in town when you're broke.
