The Beast At Daytona 500: President Trump's Memorable Appearance

If it's one thing Texans love, it's big moments like this. Just one week after becoming the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl, Donald Trump continued his world sports tour by attending the Daytona 500.

Surprise!

The President announced the visit as he was flying into Daytona to the surprise of most fans, including myself. Heck, my wife who is not a sports fan and not a NASCAR fan stopped what she was doing to check out what was going on.

After a monumental moment when Air Force One majestically flew over the track, the 47th President of the United States cruised around Daytona Internationa Speedway in a black limousine dubbed "The Beast" before delivering a message to fans.

Regardless of which side of the political fence you stand on, I think it was a super cool sight to see and I can't even begin to imagine being on hand for that spectacle.

I am a little disappointed though. I really think Trump should have rocked his very own NASCAR firesuit with a big old dip of snuff in his mouth while shotgunning a beer. Oh well. It was still cool regardless.
