What the Investigation Found

Inspectors uncovered several troubling signs: an unlicensed therapist dressed provocatively, missing client consultation forms and billing records, staff seemingly living on site, and evidence of sexual activity tied to illicit websites. These aren’t just administrative oversights; they are red flags that someone may have been exploited.

A Broader Crackdown on Massage Parlors in Texas

This closure isn't isolated. Since late 2023, TDLR has issued around 50 emergency orders, affecting about 69 locations and revoking 52 licenses tied to trafficking investigations statewide.
