We lost Chester Bennington back in July of 2017 when he took his own life. But here we are today, and he's saving people's lives with his lyrics.

Back in February of this year, Linkin Park fan Christina Settanni was driving her normal morning commute when she noticed a man sitting on the ledge of the highway overpass. As she saw him in her rearview mirror, she decided to stop and go to the man.

She admits that she was scared the man was going to jump and there was even a moment when he moved forward, but she moved towards him and told him "Nope, you go, I go."

As she was on the ledge with this man, she recited some lyrics to the Linkin Park song One More Light.

The lyrics she chose were:

Who cares if one more light goes out, in a sky of a million stars. Well I do.

Other drivers who passed the scene called 911 and the police eventually showed up. Body cam footage shows Settanni speaking calmly with the man, and the police eventually reached over and pulled the man to safety. He was arrested, but he was taken to a mental health facility to receive treatment. He apparently had made some bad decisions and felt he had let his family down.

There is no update on the man is doing, but Settanni has said she can't bring herself to drive over that overpass anymore.

If you, or someone you know is in need of help, don't hesitate to get a hold of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
