Is Corey Taylor the new voice of Velvet Revolver? Here's the answer he gave Billboard:

"To be continued!" Taylor tells with a long, hearty laugh. Neither a confirmation nor a denial -- and he's not saying anything more than that, either.

Okay, let me put this out there-who gives a rats ass about Velvet Revolver. I'm sorry, I don't think that band has the "magic" it takes to be interesting. Read more and check out some videos after the break.

I'd rather have Corey focused on Stone Sour or even the 'Knot, but in the same story Corey talks about waffling over whether he wants to do Slipknot anymore. It all makes sense that Corey would hook up with Slash though, they've jammed together many times. I try to comfort myself and think that Corey hasn't overextended himself yet and we're still getting excellent material out of him, but how long can a guy write songs for two or three bands? Most guys can't keep it going for even one band. I hate to be greedy, but I don't want my favorite singer doing something watered down.
