When you talk about Christmas music that actually rocks, there’s only one guy who’s been decking the halls with distortion pedals for three decades, Gary Hoey. And now, he’s back with a brand-new album, “Ho Ho Hoey: Christmas Time Is Here,” celebrating the 30th anniversary of the original 1995 holiday shred-fest.

A New Holiday Album That Hits All the Right Notes

Hoey’s newest release blends nine Christmas classics with one fresh original, including the emotional title track featuring his son Ian Hoey and Grammy-nominated violinist Jesús Florido. From bluesy riffs to sparkling melodies, it’s Christmas music the way Santa intended, loud, joyful, and unapologetically awesome. Heck yeah!

He also remixed fan favorites like “Angels We’ve Heard on High,” “Sugar Plum Fairy,” and “Still Got the Blues for Christmas,” giving them a brand-new 2025 shine.

Hoey’s 30th Anniversary Tour + Big Christmas Giveaway

Gary is currently shredding his way across the country on the Ho-Ho-Hoey 30th Anniversary Tour. As always, he’s giving away an autographed Fender guitar on Christmas Day, which is his 18th year doing it. Fans can register at GaryHoey.com.

He also recently dropped a limited red vinyl release, “Hark! The Ho Ho Hoey Hits!” and earlier this year released “Avalanche,” proving he’s still firing on all cylinders far beyond the holidays.
