Freedom Bell Coming To Baird, Texas On August 1st

You don't have to drive across the country to experience a piece of American pride this weekend. The Freedom Bell is rolling into Baird, Texas, and if you've ever wanted to ring a bell that's traveled the nation honoring our military and first responders...well, here's your chance.

As it turns out, he has a friend who's been traveling the country with the Freedom Bell. Austin figured, "Why not Baird?" He reached out, asked if it was possible, and next thing you know...boom. The Freedom Bell is making a stop right here in the Big Country.

What Is the Freedom Bell?

The Freedom Bell is a traveling tribute that honors the men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country. Engraved with the words, "Honoring Our Armed Forces Past, Present and Future," the bell has made appearances at patriotic events across America, giving communities a chance to gather, reflect, and celebrate the freedoms we sometimes take for granted.

And the best part? This isn't one of those "look but don't touch" exhibits.

The Freedom Bell Is Coming to Baird, Texas and Yes, You Can Ring It

Head to The Parlor in Baird this Saturday, August 1, from 2 to 6 p.m. You'll be able to see the Freedom Bell up close, snap some photos, ring it yourself, enjoy live music from Austin Allsup and special guests, and spend an afternoon celebrating community, country, and the people who've sacrificed to protect both.

It's not every day something like this rolls into our backyard, so if you're looking for a unique way to spend a Saturday afternoon, this is worth checking out.
