We aren't called the Sun City for nothing! El Paso has made it high on a list of best cities for nature lovers. El Paso is a city that has been in the headlines for over a year now. From the border wall, Beto O'Rourke highlighting the city and the various new businesses and activities the city is providing residents, El Paso is on the radar of many. This has given people the opportunity to see El Paso in a better light, and see some of the great things people can enjoy while living in the city.

The Mother Nature Network has released a list of the best cities in the U.S. for nature lovers. Many who have seen this list were shocked to see the New Mexico city that topped that list but it makes sense. Albuquerque has a lot to offer nature lovers and I can see why many would want to experience the slower pace and stunning views. But El Paso is also being recognized for its beauty, coming in at number 12 on the list. The Sun City has 18.4% of parkland in the metro area, plus There are also 2 national parks within a 100 mile radius, and the overall score for the city 51.3%. Plus we have plenty of sunny days (we aren't call the Sun City for nothing), lots of hiking and biking trails, plenty of outdoor activities and more.
