Five Finger Death Punch’s Ivan Moody + Motley Crue’s Mick Mars Guest on New Country Song
Five Finger Death Punch singer Ivan Moody and Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars have both made guest appearances on the song "Outlaws and Outsiders" by country artist Cory Marks.
The song, which also features contributions from renowned country superstar Travis Tritt, is a hard-hitting stomper, blending the twang of country music with the resounding power of rock 'n' roll. For Moody, singing on a track like this is a little more natural as Five Finger Death Punch famously recorded a cover of Kenny Wayne Shepherd's iconic blues anthem "Blue on Black." As for Mars, he plays a brief solo, beefing up "Outlaws and Outsiders" with his dirty, roaring distortion.

There's new music on the horizon from both rock vets. Mars is hard at work on a solo record, which he is meticulously writing, and insists that nothing will be released until he is "really satisfied" with it. The guitarist hinted at it being a heavy rock record, but also expressed desire to have multiple singers harmonize, similar to The Beatles. Meanwhile, Moody and the rest of Five Finger Death Punch have been in writing mode for the follow-up to 2018's And Justice for None.
