Broken Lizard Set Up ‘Super Troopers 2′ Crowdfunding Campaign
Fourteen years after the original release, it looks like a sequel to 'Super Troopers' may finally get made, with the help of fans. Broken Lizard has set up a crowdfunding campaign and have released a very NSFW video explaining everything.
According to Variety, the 5 original troopers,Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske, will reunite for the sequel. But, in order to release the film, Broken Lizard has to come up with their own money to make the movie. So, they launched the crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo with a hilarious video that is definitely NSFW.
The goal is $2 million dollars by April 21st, but, I don't think it's going to be a problem. So far, over $360,000 (and counting very, very fast) has been raised in just over 5 hours. If you want to contribute, you can click here.
