Abilene Beer Summit Benefitting New Horizons Rocks Texas This Saturday
We are calling all Texas craft beer enthusiasts. The Abilene Beer Summit is back to benefit New Horizons with a new location. Get ready for this buzz-worthy event that helps out our local kids this Saturday.
What is the Abilene Beer Summit?
The Abilene Beer Summit is 'Abilene's Craft Beer Experience', featuring over 100 beers from 30 breweries, live music, and delicious food. It's a day of sampling a variety of craft beers. Pretty sweet, right?
The best part about the Abilene Beer Summit is that all proceeds go towards New Horizons, a local foster and adoption organization that offers foster care and adoption, youth and family counseling, and residential treatment.
When and where is the Abilene Beer Summit?
This year, the event is moving over to the 201 Mesquite Event Center on Saturday, September 21st. If you have a VIP Pass or Deluxe Pass, you can get in an hour earlier than everybody else.
How much are the tickets and where do I buy them?
All tickets can be purchased at Market Street, Filo Liquors, Pinkie's, or online here.
General tickets are $40 and include 12 beer samples, access to over 45 different breweries, and over 125 different craft beers. You can also buy 12 more beers for $5 after you purchase your ticket.
VIP Tickets are also available for $125. This awesome package includes access to VIP area with catered food, exclusive swag, multiple beer samples, and access to the Abilene Beer Summit an hour before the general public can get in.
If you're not drinking adult beverages, you can get in for $10 and still see the live music (and drink water for free). Children under 21 and dogs are permitted but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Schedule of Events
- 1:00 PM – VIP PASS AND DELUXE PASS ENTRY: Gates open and craft beer sampling begins for VIP PASS attendees
- 2:00 PM – GATE PASS – GENERAL ADMISSION ENTRY: Gates open and craft beer sampling begins for GATE PASS attendees
- 12:45 – 2:15 PM – CALEB SUTTON
- 2:30- 4:15 PM – THE FOXFIRE TRIO
- 4:45 – 6:00 PM – TBD
- 5:45 PM – LAST CALL: Last call for beer samples – Serving ends at 6 PM sharp.
