Plenty of Muse fans have been eagerly awaiting the band's new album, 'The 2nd Law' -- but few of them are more famous, or more problematic for the members of the band, than right-wing TV and radio personality Glenn Beck.

Muse certainly explored new sonic territories with their recent dubstep-inspired track 'Unsustainable,' and now the British rockers drift even further from their original, um, muse with a cover of Prince's 'Sign o' the Times,' recorded earlier today at the BBC’s Radio One Live Lounge.

Muse have unleashed a monster new video for ‘Madness,’ the second single from their forthcoming ‘The 2nd Law’ album and first to get video treatment. The clip follows a statuesque femme fatale through the London Underground as riots break out around her.

We already know that the new Muse album marks a creative milestone for the band, which found itself at least in part inspired by the dubstep sounds of artists like Skrillex — but for the band’s bassist, Chris Wolstenholme, it marked a new personal beginning as well.

Muse have frequently been compared to Radiohead, but when it came time to work on their upcoming album ‘The 2nd Law,’ the band took its cues from an altogether different source: dubstep star Skrillex.
