The long-awaited beginning of Down‘s upcoming four-part series of EPs has finally been given a name and a release date. The six-track EP, which will be called ‘EP One,’ is set for a Sept. 18 release.

Down frontman Phil Anselmo has recorded a 45-second video message updating fans on the band’s upcoming, yet-untitled EP and wishing fans happy holidays. Anselmo posted the recording shortly after recording vocals at Nodferatu’s lair, the barn studio on his 17 acre property in south Louisiana.
