April 3, 2013 One of my favorite shows, Discovery Channel's 'Deadliest Catch', is back with an all new season of crab fishing, cussing and the rage of the Bering Sea.
We're guessing the folks at 'Mythbusters' watch a lot of AMC, but then again, who doesn't? After previously hosting an episode to feature various myths based on 'Breaking Bad,' 'Mythbusters' is preparing to bust some zombies by testing various aspects of zombie pop culture, 'The Walking Dead' style! Series star Michael Rooker will make a guest appearance in the zombified hour as well, hopefully keeping both his hands in tact, so check out the latest from 'Mythbusters' zombie special inside!
In addition to a number of television episodes from the likes of 'Haven' and 'Family Guy,' we weren't surprised to see that Discovery opted not to renew its firearm family series 'American Guns,' given the aftermath and national discourse raging from the terrible Sandy Hook Elementary massacre. Now, it seems another of Discovery's 2nd amendment series - Ted Nugent's 'Gun Country' - has been pulled from the network, but is it a reaction to last week's tragedy?

August 23, 2012 If you are a big tornado fan like me, you might remember a show called 'Storm Chasers' on the Discovery Channel which, obviously, documented tornadoes. That show was cancelled but one of the more popular chasers is back with a show available only on the web called 'Tornado Chasers' and there is a teaser trailer out for it.
