The band Crosses †††, featuring Chino Moreno from the Deftones, recently played a show in Abilene. Before the show, I had an opportunity to talk to guitarist Shaun Lopez. We talked about their new self-titled album, having Deju vu, and one of his favorite shows on TV, "True Detective".

Rock 108 is proud to announce that ††† (Crosses) are coming to Abilene to play the Lucky Mule on Thursday, March 20th. Crosses features Chino Moreno (Deftones), Shaun Lopez (Far) and Chuck Doom. The LA-based trio has been around since 2011, but this will be their first visit to Abilene. If I were to describe this show in one word, it would be "epic".

The release date for ††† (Crosses) self-titled debut album is tomorrow (Feb. 11), and you can listen to a full stream of the album via Pitchfork. In a new interview, ††† vocalist Chino Moreno talked about the status of Deftones, and also about the loss of his bandmate Chi Cheng.
