Parents, we’ve come to the point in the year where it’s time to start preparing the kids for another school year. Of course that means buying clothes, shoes, and school supplies. But there’s one important preparation that won’t allow kids into school unless it’s taken care of:  making sure their immunization records are up to date.

On Thursday, August 2nd from 5-7pm, The Medical Care Mission in Abilene is offering free immunizations for kids. It’s done in collaboration with the Caring For Children Foundation Care Van Program. Children eligible for free vaccinations are those without insurance or insurance that does not cover vaccines, or children on CHIP or Medicaid.
